Pricing a project is dependant on a number of factors but mainly it comes down to how complex your project is and how much work and head-scratching on my part it entails. As a rough guide expect estimates from about $2,000 to design and make an “average”, simple-ish, multi-page site.
You chose to create something, to do something you care about, to add something new to the world. You chose to make a difference.
When you choose to work with Uh Huh Yeah you choose someone who cares about getting to the heart of your idea. Who cares about giving it the voice it needs and deserves. Who is excited about playing some small part in your success.
I am especially well suited to working on bringing web apps to life, having given birth to a few myself. I've spent years living on both sides of the designer/programmer schism and understand well the problems each side has in communicating their vision. Which segues quite nicely to…
I also speak plain English so I guess that makes me trilingual (and bad at mental arithmetic). Good communication is essential in creating something that will breathe life into your project. And it often means the difference between you & I creating something good and creating something great. That's why I always work hard to cultivate trust and to really, truly, understand you and your idea.
Maybe it's time to discuss your ideas? Say hello at uhhuhyeah dot com and tell me how I can help you make a difference.
Uh Huh Yeah makes beautiful little dot coms to help you be noticed, adored and maybe even envied.
Uh Huh Yeah is my (David A McClain) svelte little web design and development shop. Uh Huh Yeah makes beautiful little web apps like Seamless and Muffin App and occasionally writes about all this glamor in Uh Huh Yeah's Distractions – a blog of sorts.
Ah, good question! Well, the quick answer is that I design and make web sites. (And well that's pretty much the long answer too.)
The kinds of web sites I make range from simple one page sites to full-bore, complex and kick-ass web apps. I work on projects that excite me, big or small, humble or game-changing.
A little blog about design, coding & anything else that will fill a blog post.
The Washington Post mentions (in passing) that Apple will design an iAd for you, if you've got $50,000-$100,000 spare...
A great story about not knowing what the hell you're doing and doing it anyway...
Sometimes I actually do listen to myself
Came across this note from 2008...
